Beauty, the most talked about subject of the 21st century across coffee tables, as office gossip and general sharing of insecurities amongst your peers. What defines beauty has been discussed by many from the plastic surgeons to celebrities sharing their secrets; the school playground filled with adolescence and the contouring industry helping us to have cheekbones we never inherited .
Beauty as we now know it has many distinct forms depending on the admirer. For many it’s all to do with aesthetics, how the outside looks, is the body appealing to ones’ eye! We have become so hung up on what the exterior holds that we often overlook character as the true strength of what real Beauty represents.
In order to retain ones beauty we must always look on the inside first. Cliche to many its the area of our life that will reflect our character and that my friends is where your real beauty lies.
You can use fancy creams and potions: apply make-up, have a new hair cut, squeeze into fancy clothes and have a six-pack to die for. But ultimately, if your mindset is not in the right place all the world sees is merely a shallow shell of your true self.
We must become comfortable in our own skin that we radiate endorphins that captures hearts and minds. Your presence should be one of confidence, enlightenment and all round optimism. people should leave you better than you may meet them. Your natural beauty will shine through and speak volumes.
Now in order to retain an all round good appearance you have to put in some work. There are some basic every day choices you have to try and accomplish in order to maintain a natural beautiful lifestyle .
Here are the basics:
- Sleep… I can’t emphasize this enough. Speaking from experience and lack off at times. Sleep is the most important element to maintaining a health glow.
- Drinking Water... Again totally guilty of not having my daily allowance but this is one of the best and simplest ways to maintain glowing skincare. Drink water everyday will brighter your skin, maintain a healthy heart and hydrate your body, cooling you down whilst energising your body.
- Exercise… as the skin is the body’s’ biggest organ it requires much maintenance. Walking or using the car less can be the start to improving your health all round. If you have the will-power sign up for classes or just go use the sauna and sweat out impurities. Exercise in any form is health for the mind, body and spirit and will drastically improve your glow;whilst improving your hearts health and vitality.
- Eat Well.. Last but if not the most important. You are what you eat. If like me you like the odd take-away your skin won’t hate you for it. But regular intakes of junk food and alcohol will eventually destroy the skin from the inside-out. What you consume you become, be it negative body images or an advert to diet. None of these will work if you have issues surrounding food and what you should be eating. So may I suggest something small, stop doing what you think people want and start liking what you do. If your life is balanced with a mix of exercise and good meal plans then stop stressing. Taste change and habit evolve, whats trendy to eat now is outdated within a month or two. Explore food with a health mindset, start small try a new fruit or recipe. Switch to a different brand and an alternative for your sweet tooth. Just enjoy food and you will find the right balance of what’s healthy for you .
Ditch the constant buying of expensive products in the hope of retaining and achieving that natural glow. You will feel insecure every time a wrinkle appears. Instead adopt a health beauty regime that you can cope with and afford too.
Let’s finish by saying that natural beauty is one happy in ones self and doesn’t feel the need to comply with cultural and social norms. Natural beauty is the ability to carry yourself with a joyous soul; humbled heart and generous spirit. So instead of trying to fit in with what you think is acceptable, try accepting yourself in all your glory and watch how natural your beauty shines through.

Good morning folks
It’s a grey Monday morning in London but we won’t let that damned out spirits. I’m thinking gardening today on my day off work. I’ve been transported to somewhere exotic with a flavour of Morocco and these imagines just invoked some romantic gestures into my heart.
Dinner should never be boring
Outdoor dining should be enchanting. Lighting, cushions and flowers everywhere. Fine dining at its best with touches of home comforts. Sometimes we don’t appreciate the spaces we are fortunate to have in London. Having a garden is such a privilege in the urban jungle of concrete. Let your garden become your Santuary. Your place away from the hustle and bustle where you can be truly relaxed and enclosed in peace.
Lay down darling….Rest your head, put your feet up with a good read and a glass of Chardnay and enjoy some peace.
I love having some outdoor space it’s my place to run away from the world and the place the kids stay away from as I will ask them to do some gardening and they usually run a mile. So it’s mainly mine shared with two dogs and a couple squirrels. It’s my peace.

Bathing amongst Mother Nature can get better than this in the city. I think this is a wonderfully simple idea but one that can bring such peace and tranquillity to one outdoor space. This is definitely one to explore further.

I’m sure you are totally aware of how essential it is to take care of your mind body and spirit. I won’t lecture you on the pros and cons , but I will say this, work productively and efficiently; look after your well-being, your health is what holds things together. Your mental health being the most important as it shapes everything you think and do.
Stress and overwork will kill you eventually, this is the honest truth.Nothing like a breakdown to show you how strong you need to be to hold things together. But without good mental health that hold can easily slip. Practice self care, take a break from everything once in a while and re-focus. The mind is only as good as its holder. You can’t be successful without a good knowledge of self.
Develop techniques that will bring balance to to hectic days. Pause and take a deep breath before making hasty decisions; write stuff down and tick them off when accomplished and develop a good bedtime routine. Early nights does wonders for the skin, energy levels and focus.
Keep moving. Literally pick yourself up go outside and breathe. Moving around does wonders for focusing the mind whilst inducing endorphins into the body. Exercise to stretch muscles and gain more energy. Don’t stay stagnant all the time get the blood pumping and watch how much better you feel in minutes.
Just remember to take time out for you. You don’t need to explain it; you don’t need to make excuses for doing it but you need your own space in order to keep living a fulfilling and successful life.

Well, it’s a lazy Sunday for me and the family. Everyone has isolated themselves into their corners. My son is arguing with fortnite with friends; the daughter is cooped up like a bird in her room and the dogs are snoring after a long walk in one of #londons enchanting woods.
Days really can’t get any better. Sometimes we need days of absolute nothing, ones that happen organically and have no really purpose other than to exist. Some days need to be spent in pure relaxation mode with spontaneous burst of excitement.
I hope you are using this day to re-charge those batteries; let the mind wonder on things at have no financial rewards but spiritual purpose. Be in the company of joyous souls, eat a good meal with loved ones or even alone, enjoy your time. Life shouldn’t always be chaos and hustle, sometimes we just need slippers and a good read.
Continue this day in good form, prepare for the week ahead, pack your work bag, sort that killer outfit then sit back and watch an afternoon movie. Use the rest of today to fill your happiness and appreciate every moment.

In April, Maya Angelou was interviewed by Oprah on her 70+ birthday. Oprah asked her what she thought of growing older. And, there on television, she said it was Butsseeeeeeeeee ‘exciting…’body changes, she said there were many, occurring every day……like her breasts. They seem to be in a race to see which will reach her waist, first.
The audience laughed so hard they cried. She is such a simple and honest woman, with so much wisdom in her words!

Long walks and casual glances along the way, the fallen leaves are a symbol of the changing lives and all that nature brings. For me its a time to focus on finishing the year with great achievements. To look back and reflect on my accomplishments, resolve with my failings and focus on new beginnings .
An Open fire is an essential for any autumn setting, it’s the cosiness and warmth that makes one feel safe and secure. The crackling of wood the array of red, yellow and blue colour, all adding to the overall effect of tranquility and relation.
And with this post I wish you a farewell, for Autumn is the season when all will be well. So have faith in the changes you are about to see, for they are the ones that were always meant to be.

It’s a beautiful day in London, the sun is shining and the weather is hopeful! I always feel a Sunday well spent with the family always gets me ready for the week ahead with vigorous enthusaisum. Sunday dinner is already on the go, meat slow cooking in the oven, children running round with Nerf guns and the dogs are snoring after a healthy breakfast. Yes, I would say I have the best life and I appreciate every moment.
